Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia issued a statement on 30 August 2016 as follows:

Slovenia strongly condemns today's terrorist attack on the Chinese Embassy in the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek.

The attack sends another warning to the international community that terrorists do not choose their targets and that terrorism remains a threat to us all.

Slovenia condemns terrorism, extremism and violence in any form, and will stand united with the international community in the efforts to eradicate them.
